Jawaharlal Nehru Port is a major port located in the south of Mumbai on the Arabian Sea coast. This port has been constructed to reduce the pressure of the traffic of the Mumbai port, and mainly cargo ships are here. It is India’s largest container port.

The country’s largest container port, Jawaharlal Nehru Port Trust (JNPT) is battling a huge hindrance in its ambitious expansion plan in Wadhwan. Because the local environmental authority has questioned this project of INR 10000 crore

The Jawaharlal Nehru Port (JLPT) has been equipped with modern facilities. Keeping in mind the huge number of incoming loads (cocks), mechanical container berths and service berths have been provided.
